Brenda Lee (Wallace) Dailey, 82, of Huntington, WV, passed away August 26, 2023, at the home of her daughter, Mary, in Shippensburg, PA, following a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Maxie Lewis Dailey. Born April 16, 1941, in Huntington, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth P. Wallace and Mary Belle (Wogan) Wallace.
Brenda was the mother of 4, Vanessa Dailey, J. Paul Dailey, Priscilla Spence, and Mary Dailey, grandmother of 12, Rebecca "Becca" Mauney, Matthew Klock, Michael Klock, Amanda Dailey, Jason Holley, Micah Holley, Suzanne Dangler, Christopher Dangler, Joseph Dangler, Katherine Dangler, Murphy Dailey and Aisling Dangler, as well as great grandmother to over 14 children and great, great grandmother to Annaleigh Rose Hudson.
She was an amazing woman who touched many lives. She never met a stranger and would regale you with the stories of her life, which was long, notable, and entertaining. She always had a smile and a kind word for anyone she encountered. A woman who spent her life helping friends and family in need, she hated to ask for help for anything and often continued to insist "I can do it myself!" even when she needed help the most.
She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her, and, knowing her, she will be watching out for us all from the other side. Arrangements are private. www.agettlakjer.com
