JOHN STEVEN JONES of Newport, Tenn., formerly of Huntington, W.Va., died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 in Newport Health Center. He was born September 7, 1941 in Huntington, a son of the late Mattocks D. and Ruth Strong Cook Jones. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Monica Ellen Jones. He is survived by his extended family, Crystal Raines Black and Austin Raines, both of Hartford, Tenn.
