In Memory

John L. Anderson, Jr.

John L. Anderson, Jr.

John Anderson died on March 11, 2025. Over the years John stayed in touch with his friends from Huntington and always talked about how much he enjoyed his days as a student with us at HHS.  John’s children, Jennifer, Suzanne and Ashley Anderson shared this information about their father:

“I am writing to share with you the news of my father, John Anderson, and his passing. Dad died peacefully here in Manhattan, KS on March 11. After a bad fall at home on January 26 then subsequent hospital stay, we have been caring for Dad at home. Unfortunately, congestive heart failure combined with the trauma of his fall meant his body simply could not go on very long. Having just passed his 84h birthday, Dad was very much at peace with his passing. He talked often about being reunited with Mom. His faith remained rock solid until the end, and sisters and I find true comfort in knowing they are both in Heaven, together again.”

Following is John’s obituary:
