SUSAN HARRIET SHAVER PACE, 71, of Huntington, W.Va., went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at her residence. She was born July 26, 1941, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Herschel and Frances Whitlock Shaver. A sister, Mary Patricia Sliger, also preceded her in death. She was a retired accounts payable clerk at Service Machine Company and was a member of Cox Landing United Methodist Church, where she was currently the treasurer for the United Methodist Women's Group. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Donald Lee Pace; two daughters and a son-in-law, Stefanie and Joe Grace of Louisville, Ky., and Melody Strickland of Loganville, Ga.; a son Donald Lee Pace Jr. of Huntington; five grandchildren, Sarah Strickland, Stacie Strickland, Tanner Strickland, Connor Grace and Megan Grace; two nieces, Barbara Linke of Amarillo, Texas, and Lisa Deladurantaye of Greenfield, Ind.; and a nephew, Jeff Sliger of Amarillo, Texas.
