ROBERT D. SUITER SR., 71, of Huntington, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Bob was born June 30, 1941, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Harold and Orleta Ferrell Suiter. He served in the U.S.A.F., Army National Guard and retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for a total of 29 years government service. He was a faithful member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sheila Myers Suiter; daughter, Mary and son-in-law, Clint Doutt; son, Bobby and daughter-in-law Sheli Suiter; grandchildren, Johnathan Holland Suiter and Nolan Suiter; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Jane Myers; a nephew, Steven Myers; and his loving dog Murry.
