Arnold Stanley

ARNOLD G. STANLEY, of South Point, Ohio, went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 25, 2007, in the Cleveland Clinic. South Point. Arnold was born November 17, 1939, in Proctorville, Ohio, a son of the late Virgil E. and Dorothy Holroyd Stanley. He was part owner of Stanley Brothers Produce in Huntington, W.Va., and was a member of Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Mack Stanley; and two sisters, Lois Stanley and Pearl Rose Wagers. Arnold is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betsy Ross Stanley; five children, Roland Stanley, Angelia Stanley and her friend, Mark, and Mitch Stanley and his wife, Kathy, all of South Point, Ohio, Ron Stanley and his wife, Paulette, of Huntington, W.Va., and Amy Stanley and her friend, Steve, of South Point, Ohio; four grandchildren, Athena Stanley of South Point, Ohio, Brandon and Veronica Stanley of Huntington, W.Va., and Devin Stanley of South Point, Ohio; one brother, Edd Stanley and his wife, Mary Jo, of Ashton, W.Va.; one sister, Ramona Thompson and her husband, Billy Joe, of Huntington, W.Va.; his stepmother, Helen Stanley, of Huntington, W.Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Arnold was a loving husband, father, brother, and a faithful Christian.
