William Joseph Pieta

William Joseph Pieta, 69, of Milton, husband of Nancy Osburn Insco Pieta, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born November 12, 1940 in Cabell County, a son of the late Edward T. and Geraldine Hunphreys Pieta. He was a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church, and was attending Church in the Valley. He was a retired foreman at Special Metals, with 31 years of service. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter and son-in-law, Meribeth and John Hoagland, a son, Timothy W. Peita, and their mother, Janet Peita, all of Nicholasville, Ky.; step children, James "Jimbo" Insco and wife Susan, Sherri L. Insco, all of Huntington; and Michael and wife, Diana Insco, of Barboursville; a sister, Linda Wolverton, of Milford, Ohio; nephews, Bradley Wolverton, of Washington, D.C., and Christopher Wolverton, of Delaware, Ohio; a brother, Gerald E. Pieta, of Huntington; seven grandchildren, several cousins, and special friends Donnie and Bonnie Black and Tom Lake.
