It is with great sadness that the family of Terry Grogan announces his passing in Port Richey, FL. after a lengthy illness, on Saturday, April 18, 2020, at the age of 78 years. Terry will be forever remembered by his wife and best friend of over 40 years, Johnna Shamp. Terry was born on July 7, 1941 in Huntington, WV to his parents George C. and Zoe E. Grogan, who predeceased him. Terry was formerly from many places: Huntington, WV; New Cumberland, PA; Charlotte, NC; Boston, MA; Indianapolis, IN; Charles Town and Philippi, WV; among others. He attended RPI, and graduated college in Nebraska. Terry was a veteran of the Air Force. He spent his main career as a computer developer working for many large computer companies, as well as an independent contract programmer. Terry's passion was motorcycles, owning and building many over the years, including road racing motorcycles, as well as cars. In recent years he could be seen on his Ural (Russian) motorcycle with either his dog (Coco) or Johnna in the side car. Terry is survived by his wife Johnna Shamp of Port Richey, FL; son Robert Grogan and granddaughters Emily and Abby of Senoia, GA; sister Sherry Montis (John) of Burnham, PA; sister Kathy Cook (John) of York Haven, PA; and his nephews Ed Cook of York, PA and Ted Sutton of State College, PA; and many other nieces and nephews. His love for his family will be greatly missed, and always remembered. Services are private for the family only.
