Spent (4) yrs in the USAF, was stationed w/ fellow classmate Keith Anderson in the upper peninsula of Michigan for 3.5 yrs . I do know what -45 degrees below zero feels like. Moved to Miami, FL to thaw-out in Oct 1963 when I was discharged. Got a job as a draftsman working for great designing architects, attended Univ. of Miami school of Engineering . . . continued to work, study, take tests / examinations, etc , am a registered architect. Have been in private practice since 1981. Married a beautiful lady (former model) that was born in Montreal, PQ. in 1968. Have traveled / visited / worked on several Projects in the Bahamas and in the Dominican Republic, including a Home for Oscar de la Renta - fashion designer. Moved from Miami to a small rural county in West-Central Florida in 1990; Citrus County / Crystal River FL where the Manatees congregate during the winter months. Constructed a Home w/ basement on 4.5 acres. Moved my Office to the 2nd Floor of my Home and continue to imitate work. Much like Rush Limbaugh, I too have more fun than should be allowed by law.

Was baptized in the LDS Church ( The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ) and continues to serve in leadership positions for over forty years. Being a father and a grandfather provides the greatest joys of life, and now my true-love of 49 years is cancer-free following numerous medical visits / operations, etc. Our Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus are most loving to us.

School Story

Simply had a blast in High School. Was on the radio (on-air) every Saturday morning, station WPLH, which I don't think exists any longer. Was involved with the local YMCA and Huntington High's HI-Y club / organization.

I certainly sounds like a delightful time was had by a few that were able to attend the Lunch-Bunch. I appreciate discovering what Louetta Hall Jamison has been up to.
Perhaps next year life will slow down enough for me to take some time-off, leave the construction job-sites behind, and take a vacation for a few days. In 25 yrs I will retire as an architect and begin truly slowing down ?. But, my formative years at Commack Elem., Oley Jr. High and HHS have stayed with me and I too am very fortunate to have lived in Huntington during the exciting 1950’s. I enjoy reading of your busy lives and your great Families. Children and grandchildren coupled with my eternal bride Jocelyne is the crowning flower in my life. Thank you to all that you do. I do appreciate so many of you, especially, Mike Hoback, David Glick and Barbara Haptonstall to name but select few. If any of you are ever in West-Central Florida, please give me a heads-up. Would enjoy meeting any of y’all again.
